Which NFL Team Had the Best Offseason?
There were a lot of NFL teams that had great off-seasons, but these 3 teams really stood out among the others. These teams made great trades, free agent signings, and had good drafts. These 3 teams are the Cleveland Browns, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Denver Broncos. All of these teams addressed their team's needs in a great way. The Browns made their best moves through free agency, the Buccaneers also had a great free agency, and the Broncos built up their team with great draft picks and trades. We will start with the 3rd best offseason and go to the best offseason.
3. Cleveland Browns
The Browns knew exactly what their needs were and they addressed those needs in a big way. Cleveland's offensive line was terrible last year, especially their offensive tackles. They replaced both tackles by drafting Jedrick Wills and signing Jack Conklin. Wills was picked with the 10th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and he is an elite offensive tackle. Conklin is a former Tennessee Titan and he signed a big contract with the Browns this offseason. The Browns also added Austin Hooper this offseason. Hooper will be a great target for Baker Mayfield and he had a breakout season in 2019. Hooper had 75 catches and put up 787 yards with 6 touchdowns in 2019. He only played 13 games and only started 10, but he still had great numbers.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
You cannot go wrong picking up the GOAT in free agency and that is exactly what Tampa Bay did. Tom Brady joined the Buccaneers this offseason to replace the former #1 overall pick Jameis Winston. Winston threw 33 touchdowns and a whopping 30 interceptions in an extremely up-and-down 2019 season. Brady should help eliminate the turnover problem at the quarterback position. Brady also recruited his former running mate in New England, Rob Gronkowski. Gronk would not have come back if Brady did not join the Buccaneers and just like that, Brady and his favorite target have moved to Tampa. They also picked offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs to help protect Tom Brady. Wirfs has all the talent in the world and he has a chance to be a fantastic lineman.
1. Denver Broncos
The Broncos picked Jerry Juedy in the first round and K.J. Hamler in the second round of the draft. This shows that the Broncos are all in on Drew Lock and they want to surround him with as many weapons as possible. The Broncos have all different types of receivers on the team. Courtland Sutton is a big guy who makes great 50/50 catches, Jerry Jeudy is an elite route runner, and K.J. Hamler is the fastest receiver on the team. They also traded for veterans A.J. Bouye and Jurrell Casey on defense. Bouye should help replace #1 corner Chris Harris and Jurrell Casey should give push up the middle to complement Von Miller and Bradley Chubb on the outsides. To finish it off, Denver picked up running back Melvin Gordon in free agency. Melvin Gordon is a great runner who had a down year last season. He is hoping to have a bounce back season while paired with Phillip Lindsay in the Broncos backfield. The Broncos had a terrific offseason and their offseason was better than any other teams.
