In what has been an up and down, injury plagued season - Brooklyn found its way to victory over the ChicGo Bulls 133-118 on Friday night at Barclays.
Kyrie Irving came out firing and capped the half with a steal and 3 ball at the buzzer. Irving finished the first half a perfect 10-10 from the field with 27 points. A “quiet” 10 point 3rd quarter was rounded out with 17 in the fourth.
As expected Kyrie is already climbing the Brooklyn franchise record books with the second highest single game total (behind only Deron Williams who posted 57 back in 2012).
Padded by 5 rebounds and 5 assists, Kyrie Irving finished 19-23 while nailing 7-9 from beyond the arc and 9 of 10 at the line. With already two of the Brooklyn Nets top ten sigle game scoring records, it won't be long before Kyrie Irving fills the board.
