The 2020 NFL Draft starts on April 23 and goes until April 25. With everything going on in the world right now, the NFL Draft seems like the only thing that will start on time and the draft will be fully virtual. This is part 2 and I will be going over picks 11-21. I did not include any trades in this mock draft. Picks 11-21 of this draft are mostly compiled of wide receivers and defensive lineman. There are definitely some stars in the making in the 2020 NFL Draft.
With the 11th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select Jerry Jeudy, a wide receiver from Alabama. Jeudy is one of the best wideouts in this years class and the Jets need a playmaker. Jeudy will be a great target for Sam Darnold and should be a great replacement for Robby Anderson. With the 12th of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select Ceedee Lamb, a wide receiver from Oklahoma. Lamb is a great receiver and will really help Derek Carr out. The Raiders have weak receivers and Lamb can be a number one receiver right away. With the 13th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Derrick Brown, a defensive tackle from Auburn. Brown will be a great fill-in for Deforest Buckner, who was traded earlier this offseason. Brown falls down in the draft and the 49ers finally take him. With the 14th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select C.J. Henderson, a cornerback from Florida. Tampa Bay has a great defense and Henderson will add to that. They are mostly set on offense so a defensive p player helps the team more.
With the 15th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select Henry Ruggs III, a wide receiver from Alabama. Ruggs is the fastest player in the draft and will be an explosive player for young quarterback Drew Lock. Ruggs is a playmaker that will make a difference for the Broncos. With the 16th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select K'Lavon Chaisson, a defensive end from LSU. Chaisson will pair with Dante Fowler Jr. and Grady Jarrett on a solid Falcons defensive line. Atlanta lost Vic Beasley this offseason and Chaisson is certainly capable of replacing him. With the 17th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Trevon Diggs, a cornerback from Alabama. Diggs is not the fastest guy, but his size allows him to have potential at the safety position. Diggs should help fill in for the loss of Byron Jones. With the 18th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Javon Kinlaw, a defensive tackle from South Carolina. Kinlaw is a good, young lineman to pair with Christian Wilkins up front for the Dolphins. Kinlaw can stop the run and rush the passer, so he can do it all.
With the 19th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select Ross Blacklock, a defensive tackle from TCU. Blacklock is very quick for the defensive tackle position and he is aggressive. Jon Gruden loves this kind of player and will welcome him into Oakland. With the 20th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Xavier McKinney, a safety from Alabama. Jacksonville is in desperate need of a safety and McKinney will help. He is the best safety in the draft and will strengthen the Jaguars secondary. With the 21st pick of the NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Justin Jefferson, a wide receiver from LSU. The Eagles desperately need a wide receiver and Jefferson brings them a great slot target. Jefferson will step in and be a top receiver right away after a great college career.
