St. Andrews (Boca Raton, FL) forward Josh Minott, announced his commitment to the University of Memphis on Saturday.
The rising senior averaged 17.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest, leading the Scotts to a 3A State Championship over Andrew Jackson High School (Jacksonville, FL) by a score of 57-50.
“Coach Penny Hardaway is probably one of the biggest factors that went into my decision,” Minott claimed in an interview with 305Sports.
While talking to Memphis assistant coach, Cody Toppert, in an ihoopsfl Interview, he claims how much the university focuses on player development which is something Minott really appreciates.
“I’m looking forward to the development most,” Minott told 305Sports. “I really like the facilities and all the things they have laid out for the players to get better.”
The four star forward is the Tiger's first commit of the 2021 class placing their national recruitment ranking to No.45 nationally and No.1 in the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
