The Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White has every reason to hate Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, and he's hoping Brady moves on from the AFC East Champions.
The last time New England Patriots fans would have seen Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White, he was being bullied by the Patriots rookie wide receiver N'Keal Harry. Before that our last memory of White would have been Rob Gronkowski dropping the people's elbow on his neck. White has every reason to hate the New England Patriots. Besides getting roughed up on the field, White has also had to deal with the greatest of all time, and Tre'Davious White would want nothing more than Tom Brady to leave the AFC East.
White is also not buying any of the nonsense that Brady's play is declining and says that players still panic when they have to go up against Brady.
“For me, I hope he doesn’t go back [to New England],” White admitted to Jeff Howe of the Athletic. “For football, it’d be great to see him stay a Patriot and continue to do it that way.”
“He is still the best,” said White. “Anytime you’ve got to go against him, I guarantee a lot of guys are panicking.”
That's a very different narrative than the mainstream sports media assessment of Tom Brady.
Notable Patriots "Haters" like Max Kellerman, Nick White, Shannon Sharpe, and Rob Parker, have all stood firm that Brady's play has declined "significantly". Out of those four, Sharpe is the only one who's played football in the NFL, but has admitted hate of the Patriots and his TV partner Skip Bayless's love of Tom Brady seems to have clouded Uncle Shannon's judgement of the GOAT.
Tre'Davious White has the unfortunate pleasure of squaring up against Tom Brady twice every season and he gets to see Brady first hand. You can't blame White for wanting Brady to move on. The Patriots have owned the Bills for the better part of 20 years, and I’m sure that every player, coach, and fan of the Buffalo Bills is sick of seeing Tom Brady.
