Montana and Rice, Manning and Harrison, Aikman and Irvin. The NFL has seen their fair share of great duos in the NFL. There are some game changers in the NFL at the quarterback and wide receiver positions. This is a list of the current top 4 duos in the NFL. Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, and Russell Wilson are some of the NFL's top quarterbacks while Michael Thomas, Deandre Hopkins, and Julio Jones are fantastic receivers. These duos are extremely effective and are the best the NFL has to offer.
4. Aaron Rodgers and Devante Adams Aaron Rodgers and Devante Adams are some of the best at their positions, so it is obvious that they are a great combination. This duo is lethal all the time, but they especially take over certain games. In the Divisional Round against the Seahawks, Adams had 8 catches for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns. All of those yards came from Rodgers who had an eye on Adams all day long. In the 2019 season, Devante Adams had 997 receiving yards in only 12 games and all of those yards came from Rodgers throwing him the ball.
3. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have been one of the elite duos in the NFL for a very long time. Ever since Jones entered the league in 2011, he has been a dominant receiver for Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense. These two have an obvious chemistry and have led the Falcons to many playoff appearances including a Super Bowl. Ryan and Jones were not as impressive this season as they both had injuries. Jones had a shoulder problem and Ryan hurt his ankle. Despite these injuries, Julio Jones had 1394 receiving yards and Ryan threw for nearly 4500 yards.

2. Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill are a new duo, but still one of the best. This was shown in the Super Bowl when on a 3rd down and 15 in the 4th quarter, Mahomes fired deep down the field and found Hill for a huge gain which gave the Chiefs the boost to win Super Bowl 54. It is a match made in heaven as Mahomes has the best arm in the NFL and Hill is the fastest player. It is almost like a video game, Mahomes guns the ball down the field as far as he can and Hill somehow gets under the football. This new duo has made noise for a few years and have made their biggest impact in the Super Bowl.
1. Drew Brees and Michael Thomas Drew Brees and Michael Thomas are the best duo in the NFL no doubt about it. Michael Thomas broke the record for the most receptions in a season in the 2019 season. Thomas compiled an insane 149 catches which went for 1725 yards. Brees was hurt for 5 games this season and even with the backup in, Michael Thomas was still a great receiver. Thomas and Brees are on opposite ends of their careers, but they are still the best duo in the NFL. Thomas is the best at his position and is in a great situation with Brees throwing to him.
